This award is open to organisations that have integrated digital transformation into their sustainability strategy, leveraging technology to drive environmental improvements. The judges will want to understand how your organisation has used digital tools, automation, data analytics, or AI to enhance sustainability efforts, reduce environmental impact, and improve operational efficiency. You must explain what you have achieved so far, particularly in the past 18 months, and what you plan to achieve in the future. Evidence of a well-defined strategy with clear targets, measurable outcomes, and year-on-year comparisons is essential. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a structured plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Organisation Background: Describe the size and nature of your organisation, including its sector and digital transformation journey. Highlight relevant certifications, benchmarking, or external validation of sustainability efforts.
  • Digital Sustainability Strategy: Outline your organisation’s digital transformation strategy for sustainability, including key objectives and measurable targets. Explain how digital technologies have been integrated into environmental goals.
  • Implementation & Innovation: Summarise key initiatives undertaken, focusing on digital tools and solutions used to enhance sustainability. Demonstrate how technology has improved efficiency, reduced waste, or lowered carbon footprints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Digital Culture: Explain how employees, customers, and stakeholders have been engaged in the digital sustainability journey.
  • Outcomes & Measurable Impact: Provide quantifiable results, such as energy savings, waste reduction, carbon footprint improvements, or operational efficiencies achieved through digital transformation. Include year-on-year comparisons and real-world examples.
  • Future Goals & Continuous Innovation: Outline future plans for digital sustainability, upcoming technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives. Highlight how your organisation aims to stay ahead with cutting-edge green digital solutions.
